“The secret world of the femme fatale”

Reem Acra’s F/W 2016 runway show provides a glimpse into the life of a femme fatale, a glamorous and seductive women who ultimately brings disaster to the men around her. She is someone who we all want to be, glamorous, sensual, elegant, fairy-like with a touch of mystery.

Light material such as silk, lace, and chiffon are cut in layers and sewn in folds for a draping effect. Black lace elegantly decorates powder silk charmeuse cascades. Asymmetric black silk chiffon dress is embroidered with detail. Loose threats shakes off of fringe dresses in different lengths. Black lace is continually featured to create a mysterious aesthetics. Colors used are teal, lavender, black, steel blue, wine, cream, and silver.
