The Brightest Stars on the CFDA Awards Red Carpet
Celebrities were shining Monday evening at the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Awards. Having seen the president Diane Von Furstenburg and Steven Kolb in person, I feel very much personally attached to the ceremony.
This year, the CFDA award list is composed of prestigious designers such as Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan, and winners of special prizes such as David Bowie. Best foreign designer goes to Alessandro Michele from Gucci and winner of this year’s Fashion Icon Award went to Beyoncé, who gave a surprise appearance the day before her Formation World Tour concert in New York. In this post, I showcase a list of my favorite looks and designers of the ceremony whom you may also like.

I really want to comment on Anna Wintour and Bee Shaffer’s dress as they are a representation of the Gucci’s GucciGram Tian print.
They collaborated with various artists and illustrators around the Asia-Pacific region to bring a new perspective surrounding the gorgeous Gucci Tian print. Featuring hummingbirds, peacocks, monkeys, butterflies, tree branches and flower blooms, Tian was inspired by Western orientalist fantasies and 18th-century Chinoiserie. – Bryanboy.com
This is an absolutely stunning print that has set trend by Gucci as well as Louis Vuitton in the brands bomber jackets of the Spring 2016 collection. The design combines cultural nostalgia of different periods into one piece, a refreshing representation of garment and art.
