Independence Day Hiking at Minnewaska State Park
Happy Independence Day and happy birthday ‘merica! While lighting up the fireworks and enjoying a barbecue feast may be a tradition for Americans, this year, I went hiking at Minnewaska State Park with my family.
The drive was two hours away from NYC. We got to the state park at around noon, but all the parking lots were full, so we decided to find a lake nearby and have lunch first (barbecue)!
In the afternoon, we started hiking up the mountain. Following the red track, we didn’t take too long until we got up to the mountain top.
At the end, we visited a few antique stores in the city center. I was surprised to find these vintage perfume bottles still with perfume in it. I have seen them in Paris before, but seeing them here reminds me of Paris a lot, and that’s why I took a photo of this one called “Memories of Paris.”
The town center was unheard by many, but has it was quite hipster. And that ends my Fourth of July trip to Minnewaska State Park! Stay tune a Macy’s Firework video tomorrow!
