Queensboro Bridge and Ballet Opera at Lincoln Center
Happy Thursday! This week is full of new things I have yet to try. Just the past two days, I was at Penthouse 808 at Long Island City celebrating my friend Emily’s birthday. The view of Manhattan across river and the Queensboro Bridge was phenomenal. Here are some shots I took.
The restaurant was a little over priced, but is definitely a perfect spot to have a drink and to enjoy the view.
The day after, my friend Victoria invited me to see his boyfriend performing the ballet Sleeping Beauty at Lincoln Center. As someone who goes to school next to Lincoln Center, I have always wanted to visit it for fashion week, to see the Philharmonic Orchestra or basically anything. This time, I got the chance to see my friend performing as the Bluebird of Sleeping Beauty with American Ballet Theatre.
We were quick enough to snap a few shots at the ending of the show. Many said that it’s one of the best Sleeping Beauty they have seen, because each show can be different depending on the cast and their roles. I also think that my friend was the perfect Bluebird as he could jump really, really, really high… He was even honored with a bouquet of flower at the end.
