From Top to Accessories, What to Wear to the September NYFW.
After getting over with the fact that I broke my hard drive and that over three years of photos in there probably can’t be recovered, I am drying up my tears, cause, life still has to go on…
So in preparation for the fall Fashion Week, I made up two mood boards after inspiration search. These can be wish-list items, and these can be possible inspirations if you have similar items! I am trying to do these mood boards every month so stay tuned!
All About Sneakers – From 2015 to 2016, we have seen low top sneakers setting the trend in street style and even on runway shows. They first came in white in the Adidas Orignal Stan Smith before all the other colors came in – pink, navy, and even the Gucci ones that are on flame! I found this pair Stan Smith Primeknit Sneakers extra heartwarming. Wearing pink knitwear on your feet to walk with? I wouldn’t want to ruin this soft and lovable color.
This pair of Gucci Ace Low-Top Sneakers are low key but on flame! The usual bold and flashy red and green Gucci label is not arrogantly striped across the sneakers but is surrounded with “flame.” This all together is just too beautiful.
To pair up to display your youthfulness, I recommend the Topman Navy Stretch Twill Ultra Skinny Cropped Pants. Don’t be terrified by the long name, but these skinny cropped pants are a simple way to elongate your legs. Though September in New York is getting cooler, we can still try this silky white dress top (courtesy of GQ) during the midday heat, because, you don’t get to wear that during the February FW! Last but not least, flash off your coolness with the Gentle Monster Moon Cut WDI and the John Varvatos Sterling Silver Bear Claw Pendant.
GQ has endorsed plaid and it has inspired me to research more into plaid on pants, such as this one by Decoster. Loose fit and crop is a permanent staple cutting, and when plaid collides with camel, it brings us the 70s nostalgia. More camel color also plays well on new items such as the Army Baseball Cap by Maison Kitsuné, the staple 2016 accessory – the Dapper Bristol by Daniel Wellington, and the Gucci Princeton Leather Slipper with Snake. Right, you see these loafers? they are lined with kangaroo fur!
And that’s my September outfit inspiration for NYFW! While I am hoping to recover all the photos from my hard disk one day, I can’t wait to take a lot of photos from the upcoming Fashion Week!
