Dressing up for NYFW
New York Fashion Week isn’t all about seeing shows and capturing celebrities, it’s also about dressing yourself up to have your own photos taken.
Pedro, Eli and I were strolling around Chelsea before our shows, but found ourselves in this really “New York” corner with steps, decorative handrail, and white façade. Photos are by Pedro Rodrigo Gonzalez.
I have to say, I absolutely fell in love with Issey Miyake this summer. It is one of the brands that perfectly executed pleat, in a comfortable way. Thin pleat run vertically on the pants to not only elongate your legs, but to also give off a straight and thin silhouette.
Sandro’s top is also a way to elongate my silhouette. Chain print vertically run from the collar down, and it is cut with over-length sleeves that can almost cover your hands. I chose not to button my sleeves, because then they can get “flowy” with the pants as you walk.
Loafers are by Cole Haan. I have had them for years and they are still so chic when you pair them right. Loafers are setting trend right now as they are also featured in the latest GQ!
That’s one of my outfits for FW! Stay tuned for more fashion week reviews and shows!
